Pentaerythritol stearate (PETS) is usually a white hard waxy substance with a high melting point, which is soluble in solvents such as ethanol and benzene. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA): Thermogravimetric analysis results show that PETS has no obvious weight loss at 50°C; at 375°C, the weight loss is about 2.5%; at 400°C, it begins to decompose (weight loss is about 7%).

Pentaerythritol stearate has the following characteristics: 1. Mold release---effectively reduces melt viscosity, small dosage, good demoulding effect; 2. High gloss---extremely low Chemicalbook turbidity tendency, effectively enhances the transmittance of transparent plastics to improve the appearance of finished products; 3. High temperature resistance---good structural thermal stability and low volatility at high temperatures.

Pentaerythritol stearate has good thermal stability and low volatility at high temperatures, good demoulding and flow properties, and has an excellent nucleation effect on partially crystalline plastics, and can be used for transparent products. Pentaerythritol stearate can be used in the processing of such systems due to its outstanding thermal stability, without worrying about the degradation of Chemicalbook, and it can significantly improve transparency and surface finish. In the process of extrusion and molding, pentaerythritol stearate is an effective lubricant for many polymers and can be used as thermoplastic engineering plastics. It can also be used as an external lubricant for PC, hard PVC and other polymer systems.
