Main species

1. According to the raw materials used in production, it can be divided into starch raw material fermentation alcohol, molasses raw material fermentation alcohol, sulfite pulp waste liquor fermentation to produce alcohol.
Starchy raw materials fermentation alcohol (generally potatoes, cereals and wild plants and other starchy raw materials, under the action of microorganisms hydrolysis of starch to glucose, and then further fermented by yeast to produce alcohol);
Molasses raw material fermentation alcohol (directly use the sugar in molasses, after dilution sterilization and adding part of the nutrient salt, fermentation alcohol by yeast);
Sulfite pulp waste liquor fermentation to produce alcohol (the use of paper waste liquor contained in the six-carbon sugar, fermented into alcohol under the action of yeast, the main product is industrial alcohol. Also useful wood chips dilute acid hydrolysis made of alcohol).
2. According to the method of production, it can be divided into two categories: fermentation and synthesis.
3. According to the quality or nature of the product, it is divided into high purity alcohol, anhydrous alcohol, ordinary alcohol and denatured alcohol.
4. According to the product series (BG384-81), it is divided into excellent grade, first grade, second grade, third grade and fourth grade. The first and second grades are equivalent to high purity alcohol and ordinary distillation alcohol. Class III is equivalent to pharmaceutical alcohol and class IV is equivalent to industrial alcohol.
